About GridReady
Built by a Green Beret. Made by Ready Apps LLC, doing business as SOFReady.
Who built it
Ben Masek
Green Beret medic, 5th Special Forces Group. CONFIRM: rest of bio, coming from Ben
Why it exists
You cannot run a land nav course from your bed. GridReady is built so you can get the reps anyway: practice in bed, then go do it in person. Same map, same tools, same skills.
It is a training aid. It teaches the skill of navigating with a map and a compass, and it never replaces either one.
